The tropical rainforest is found on and close to the equator. It spans across South America, Africa and south Asia. The latitude is 15° to 25° North and South of the equator. This is between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.
The three main places where a tropical rain forest can be found are:
-Central America
-Africa
-Indo-Malaysia (the west coast of India, Assam, Southeast Asia, New Guinea and parts of Australia)
